The Center for Community Engagement and Service essentially recruits volunteers from AU’s student population and aims to engage them in service globally - whether it be civic engagement, social justice, or international interaction, the Center for Community Engagement is at the frontlines of service and civil engagement at American University.

Scheduling a meeting with HPAC has been switched to Microsoft Teams. In order to schedule appointments you have to read through the staff members listed and see which one fits what you are looking for and then email them directly.

Trick Question! You do not need to schedule any appointments at this center. Everyone who is interested or want to practice their faith is welcome to come in and join a service. You can even join scheduled events.

Online surveys with a variety of questions about what you are feeling and experiencing, starting from a broader, more general survey that will direct you to more specific questions based on your answers to determine what mental health issues you may be experiencing

Currently, only students in DC can utilize the full range of the Counseling Center's services due to licensing laws, however all students can set up a call with the counseling staff to locate referrals closer to them
