It's a hot summer day and you notice that an RT in your lane doesn't look well. They say they're having a headache, sweating excessively, and feel dizzy. They say they'll probably be fine, don't want to tell anyone else, and continue registering patients. 

You decide to do this. 

Encourage them to tell the RT and FF supervisor onsite and if they refuse, alert the supervisors yourselves to ensure that the RT's symptoms don't worsen. Look after one another! Heat-related illnesses can become very serious. 


Supervisors will make sure that the RT is OK, tell them to take extra breaks, hydrate, and go home if needed.
