Hybrid Auction
Variety of sweets displayed in an enticing fashion with at least one dessert per table. Typically, a bid sheet is placed on every table with the corresponding table number. Each table or group make donations, and top tables get to get first pick of dessert.

Also known as Anti-Sniping/Soft Close, automatically extends the auction time when someone bids at the last minute. This prevents bidders from winning by placing bids right before closing time.
Bid Extension
When individuals raise money from their networks (ex. via teams for an 'a-thon').
Peer-to-Peer fundraising
An item designated as a prize in a raffle drawing or given to a bidder at no cost.
