For example, to teach others about Gods forgiveness, he described the story of the unforgiving servant below. 

"A king lent his servant a large sum of money. When the king asked for his money back, the servant begged the king for more time. The king forgave his debt entirely. Later, the servant saw a man who owed him money and demanded it to be paid. The man asked for more time but the servant had his debtor put in prison. The king heard of this and said to the servant... You wicked servant, I forgave you and had pity on you, shouldn't you have done the same?"

What season involves the Triduum? Name and describe the 3 days it involves.

Lent season. Triduum is the 3 days before easter. Begins on Holy Thursday when Jesus washed the feet of his disciples, performed the last supper, and was praying in the garden when Judas betrayed him and Jesus was arrested. Good Friday Jesus dies on the cross from 12-3pm. Holy Saturday we celebrate Easter vigil at midnight to rejoice that Jesus was raised from the dead.

Why do we have the beatitudes and the 10 commandments? What does God promise if we follow these?

10 commandment- old testament- given to moses in old testament- to show Israelites how to live life. 

Beatitudes - New testament- Jesus tells his followers how to live 

If we follow the 10 commandments and the Beatitudes, God promises us a happy life and eternal life in heaven

What is a martyr? What is a saint? Do you have to be a martyr in order to be a saint?

Martyr- someone who was killed because they believed in Jesus/god

Saint- someone who is currently dead, but who lived an extraordinary life dedicated to God. Ie- St. Ambrose, St. Patrick, grandma/grandpa in heaven. We pray to saints so that they can speak on our behalf by praying to Jesus for us.

Saints do not need to be martyrs. The pope declares a person a saint when people pray to saints and documented miracles happen in their name.
