Name a key difference between younger school aged and older school aged children.
Older school aged (8-10) can play and complete activities on their own. They think critically where as younger school aged (5-7) are transitioning from playing pretend to finding specific interests/hobbies. Older are more self reliant, becoming more muscular and improving their coordination.
How does play help a child develop?
