This is where you turn in your work so Mrs. Synowiecki can look at it and make sure you are on the right track!
What is the mailboxes in the back of the room?
When Mrs. Synowiecki rings this, she means business. She wants you to stop what you are doing, look, and listen!
What is the chime?
Erica works very hard to keep this organized. We all have to work together to help it stay that way. We can do this by putting our wooden marker where we take something out, so we know where to put it back!
What is the classroom library?
This is your responsibility each day. Completing this will help you earn a monthly salary on Class Bank!
What is a classroom job?
Where AND how you are expected to sit when you come up to the front of the room for a lesson or morning meeting
What is on the pink carpet, sitting criss cross applesauce?
This has a specific due date. Failing to turn it in when it is due will result in a fine AND missed recess time.
What is homework or classwork?
An area that Mrs. Synowiecki put together for students who need a break or are feeling overwhelmed. You can go there and set a timer on your own. Mrs. Synowiecki can also advise you to go there and set a timer. It is NOT a punishment to go to this area.
A time to play, run around, socialize, and let loose. NOT a time to fight, be inappropriate, or be unsafe. You may get this time taken away if you have not earned it (followed school and classroom rules or completed your work).
What is recess?
Something that is open every Friday during morning work time. You must have all work completed in order to visit it. Mrs. Synowiecki has to approve each transaction made in this.
What is the classroom store?
What is your name and your classroom number?
Something you need to have with you each day. This is something that you need to use wisely and carefully. Failure to use this in the way that it is intended will result in it being taken away.
What is your iPad?
Mrs. Synowiecki will sometimes supply this. However, we must remember she is not made of money and can not have one for everyone everyday. She only has these for students who forgot theirs or do not have their own. It is your responsibility to bring this each day, and have it ready to go in the classroom.

Where you go if you are in a great deal of pain, vomiting, bleeding, or broken. NOT where you go if you are bored, avoiding classwork, or want a break.
What is the nurse's office?
What you don't do when Mrs. Synowiecki assigns work of any sort!
What is complaining?
Mrs. Synowiecki expects the room to be this at the end of every day. Having glitter everywhere, papers jammed in your desk, or things not in the right place is the opposite of this!
What is being clean/organized?
Making eye contact, waiting your turn, sharing, saying please and thank you, not interrupting someone else, caring about the feelings of other people, and treating them kindly.
What is respect?
The classroom job where you help clean up areas that are NOT under/around student desks. Cleaning under or around desks is not part of this job, as it is the responsibility of the person who sits at that desk. This job helps with cleaning up areas that we all share (under tables, on the carpet, anything that is not put away). This is the only job where you get to use the vacuum.
What is clean up crew?
Something you do if there is an emergency. You do not do this if you simply forgot your homework or your iPad.
What is calling home?
What is to learn?
Mrs. Synowiecki is a person who comes to school everyday, wanting to have fun and teach you new things. If you treat her with this, she will get to do the games, activities, and fun lessons she has planned (she will also be in a better mood). If you do not show Mrs. Synowiecki or your classmates this, you may not get to participate or might have to take a trip to the office.
What is respect?
When we work together towards a common goal, respect each other's opinions, participate, we are working as this.

How to earn any kind of bonus on Class Bank!
