Where do I get sharpened pencils?
You should start the day with 2 sharpened and ready to go in your box. Dull/unsharpened pencils go in the glass jar. The purple pencil box is full of sharpened pencils. You do not need to sharpen anything unless the purple box is empty.
Can I eat during class?
Yes, but only during snack time. We DO NOT keep food in our desks because it attracts bugs and distracts us from learning.

What should I do about school work if I am absent?
Check two places: desk and Google Classroom. You are responsible. Yes, you have to complete the work. Yes, it will be a zero and marked missing if it is not turned in.

What do I do if I need to use the restroom during class?
If the teacher is teaching, then don't interrupt her. The answer will be no. If we are working with partners, in groups, or individually - I may ask and she will almost always say yes.

What do I do with my Maroon take home folder?
Bring to school and take home - EVERYDAY! In the mornings, it goes in your mailbox. Be sure to empty it every night. Any important papers or money should be placed on Mrs. West's desk first thing in the morning.
When can I get a drink of water?
You may have a leak proof water bottle on your desk (unless, it becomes a problem). WATER ONLY!!!! Water bottles may be filled during class restroom breaks. If you don't bring a water, we will have a few class water/restroom breaks each day.
