Will I get an A for completing all of my work?
No. Earning an A means that not only did you complete the assignment, but you also turned in high-quality, correct answers.
What should you do if your Chromebook in being repaired in tech and you don't have it in class?
Tell the teacher and fill out a pink slip so that your starter is excused.

What happens if I fail a grading period?
Failing a grading period does NOT mean that you fail English for the year.
It means that you still have three grade periods plus the final exam to get a passing grade for the year.
How long will the teacher leave an assignment open on Canvas?
One week after the due date of the assignment. After that, the assignment will be locked.

How many days do you have to make up work after an EXCUSED absence?
You have one day per excused day absent.
Ex. If you were absent one day and brought in an excuse, you have a one day extension.
What happens if I fail English for the year?
You will have to pay for and pass summer school English before you can graduate.

You are expected to bring the following every day:

When do I have to take the Keystone Literature exam?
You take the Keystone Literature exam at the end of your 10th grade year. The state requires you to be proficient in Literature in order to graduate.
