How should you act towards others?
Be kind! Keep your hands and body to yourself. Raise your hand when you have something to say. Listen to others.
How can you get a pencil if yours breaks?
In your pencil box, or in the sharpened pencils. The Pencil Manager will refill and sharpen your numbered pencil at the end or beginning of each day.
What happens first if you choose to break a rule?
You will get a warning or lose a Dojo point.
What are Dojo points?
Earned points for doing good! (or bad)
How should you line up?
In a single file line, lips zipped, hands to ourselves, facing forward.
My hands are at my sides, I'm standing straight and tall, my lips are sealed, I'm ready for the hall.
How do we walk up the stairs?
With our hand on the rail in a single file line. Quietly!
When can you get out of your seat?
When Mrs. Tyrrell asks you to or when you need a tissue.
If you make a bad choice, what else can Mrs. Tyrrell do if you're in trouble?
Send a message to your parent or create a consequence (like missing time at recess or missing a party)
What can you earn with your Dojo points when Mrs. Tyrrell says it's time to spend them.
Fun Friday event! (examples: movie, ice cream party, board game event)
What should I do if I see someone I know in the hall way?
Wave and smile without talking
What should you do with other people's things?
Respect other's property. Only touch other's things if you've been given permission.
When do we use the bathroom or get drinks?
When we take a bathroom break.
(Or if it's an emergency.)
What is Class Dojo?
An app where Mrs. Tyrrell can give you positive happy points or minus points. Your parents can also see these points.
How could you earn a reward?
By being good in school and making good choices.
When can I throw away my lunch?
Can I go to the bathroom at lunch?
When the lunch helpers walk around with the trash.
We go to the bathroom before lunch. We do not go at lunch.
What should you do when Mrs. Tyrrell gives directions?
Listen and Follow Directions the First Time Given

In Mrs. Tyrrell's basket everyday.

Ask the person nicely to "Please Stop".
If they do not stop, ask the teacher.
How do we behave in the Hallway?
Keep voices to a Level 0 and be respectful by walking in a line and listening to the teacher. Your voice level can go to a Level 1 if you absolutely need to whisper something.
What are three things you do every morning?
Check-in, hang up backpacks, sit on the carpet.
If you upset someone or make a bad choice what should you do?
Apologize.
When you see Mrs. Tyrrell at the door in the morning, what do you do?
Give her a hug or a high five!
