How long do you get to keep your books?
2 weeks, but you can always renew your books or plead your case with me.
What is types of books are found in the fiction section?
Lots of different genres!
How can we tell a book is a Fiction book by the spine?
It will have FIC or an 'F' on the spine label followed by the author's 1st 3 letters of their last name.

What types of books will you find in nonfiction section of the library?
True or factual books.
How can we tell if a book in our library is a Non-Fiction book?
It will have a Dewey Decimal System number and then the author's 1st 3 letters of their last name.
What happens if you open your book too far?
You can break the spine of the book and pages may become loose.
When do I get charged for a book?
When the book has been lost or damaged.
How many books should I have checked out at a time?
Get what you need as a reader!
What is the circulation desk?
This is the place where you check books out.
What is the biography section?
This is the section in the library with books about real people's lives.
What part of the book should be facing out on the shelf?
The Spine
When can you eat and drink in the library?
Never!
What other times can I come to the Library?
After eating lunch and in the morning before first period as long as Mrs. Caple is here!
Where is the book return area?
Outside of the library.
What does the YA sticker mean on the spine of the book?
YA stands for Young Adult.
What should you do if you damage a book?
Bring it back to the library to see if I can repair it. Don't be afraid, I don't get mad.
