Classroom Expectations
When I come in the room what are the first four things that I do?
- Come in quietly.
-Read the board.
-Get materials that I need.
-Go to the restroom.
When I come back from specials, what do I do? (4 steps)
Get my backpack and anything that needs to go home.
Put my chair on my table.
Pick up any trash left around my table.
Wait for Mrs. Lovern to dismiss me.
What do I need to do when I walk in the cafeteria?
I need to come in a level 0. I walk to my table and sit my things down and then get in line if I need to get something.
Before I go to clubs, what do I need to do?
If I didn't eat breakfast, I need to go to the cafeteria and eat first.
When we switch classes, what do I do?
I walk out of the classroom without talking and line up next to the door. I do not talk to my neighbor.
When I need a sharpened pencil, what do I do?
Trade a broken pencil for a sharpened pencil.
If I am a car rider, what do I do?
Wait quietly until it is time to go down the hallway.
Sit down in the hallway and listen for my name.
I can talk to the people at my table.
When getting ready to go to specials from recess, what do I need to do?
I need to get a drink or go to the restroom quickly before it is time to go in. I then need to sit down quietly outside the door.
When walking down the hallway, what do I do?
I walk behind the person in front of me without talking. I do not step on the person's feet in front of me. I do not touch the walls.
When I have a question, what do I do?
Raise my hand and wait to be called on.
If I am a bus rider, what do I do?
Walk to my designated classroom and wait quietly.
Walk quietly down the hallway in line to my bus.
Do not yell or jump around on the bus.
Talk to the people next to me and don't yell to others.
What do I do if I need to go to the restroom?
I raise my hand and get permission.
When I am going out to recess, what are the rules to follow?
Walk on the sidewalk until I get to the playground.
Put my water bottle against the fence.
Do not run up the slide.
No tag on the fort.
Do not run through the swings.
No tackle football.
No gaga pit.
When I go to the restroom, what are the expectations?
I go to the restroom, flush, and then wash my hands and go back to class. I do not socialize in the bathroom.
Where do I turn in my papers? What do I HAVE to have on my paper?
I turn in my paper in the paper box by the door. I HAVE to have my name on my paper.
If I am a walker, what do I do?
Wait quietly in the hallway until the door is open.
Go straight to my car if my parent is there.
Stand by the fence if I am still waiting on someone.
At 1:30, what happens?
Everyone has to be quiet and finish their lunch.
When going to library, what do I do?
I walk into the library, return my book, grab a stick, and get hand sanitizer.
I then sit down in my assigned spot and wait for Mrs. Oneal.
I do not run around the library during check out time.
Once I have my book I sit down and read it.
How many people can be at the restroom at one time?
One
Do I need to ask Mrs. Lovern?
First, I make sure Mrs. Lovern isn't actively teaching.
Then, I check and see if anyone is already gone to the bathroom.
Next, I put my number on the chart under Where Am I and go to the restroom.
No, I do not need to ask Mrs. Lovern.
What do I need to take home everyday?
Backpack
Lunch box
Jacket
Take home folder
What do you do once you have thrown away your trash?
I sit quietly and put my head down.
