In Detroit, wealthy board members were able to protect the schools by donating money. Instead of prioritizing themselves and their families, they focused more intently on the overarching well-being of the community.

Yes. Global warming makes the ground more susceptible to becoming dust and blowing away, losing all plant growing nutrients. Also, as we deplete native grasses of the great planes, we increase the likelihood of this happening again.
