Gumballs Shaking, rattling, rolling around, Nowhere to go, No way to be found, Wait; who’s that! I don’t know who it is. I’m scared; don’t look at me; I’m none of your business. She says, “Yum, yum, yum!” “I need some sugary goodness On my tongue; So many colors, I’m in a daze; Red, yellow, green, blue Even jade. I’ll pick you!” She said as she turned the dial, “I can only have gum Every once in a while.” She picked me up And popped me in her mouth. That’s the end, dear reader, There’s nothing left to talk about.

My neighbor’s dog is purple, Its eyes are large and green, its tail is almost endless, the longest I have seen. My neighbor’s dog is quiet, It does not bark one bit, but when my neighbor’s dog is near, I feel afraid of it. My Neighbor’s dog looks nasty, it has a wicked smile… before my neighbor painted it, it was a crocodile.

In winter I get up at night And dress by yellow candle-light. In summer, quite the other way, I have to go to bed by day. I have to go to bed and see The birds still hopping on the tree, Or hear the grown-up people's feet Still going past me in the street. And does it not seem hard to you, When all the sky is clear and blue, And I should like so much to play, To have to go to bed by day?

"What I Am” . If what I am is what's in me Then I'll stay strong - that's who I'll be And I will always be the best "me" that I can be. There's only one me, I am it Have a dream I'll follow it It's up to me to try. Oh! I'm a keep my head up high Keep on reaching high Never gonna quit I'll be getting stronger. And nothing's gonna bring me down (no!) Never gonna stop, gotta go. Because I know I'll keep getting stronger. And what I am is thoughtful What I am is musical What I am is smart And what I am is brave What I am is helpful What I am is special There's nothing I can't achieve. Because in myself I believe in oh... Gonna keep our heads up high Keep on reaching high Never gonna quit Just keep getting stronger. And nothing's gonna bring us down (no!) Never give it up, gotta go. Because I know I'll keep getting stronger. What I am is super What I am is proud What I am is friendly What I am is grouchy What you are is magical What you are is special There's nothing I can't achieve. Because in myself I believe in oh... Gonna hold my head up high Keep on reaching high Never gonna stop I'll be getting stronger. Nothing's gonna bring me down (no!) Never give it up gotta go, oh... yeah... I'll keep getting strong-er.

There once was a very happy snowman who was loved by all the boys and girls. He would watch them run and play with each passing day. One day the sun was so bright the snowman knew it wasn't quite right. He hoped with each day that he would not melt away if only he could make it until night. As the days became warmer and warmer the snowman knew he was in danger. He said his good-byes and looked in their eyes and said, "I promise I'll see you again." The next snowy day the children all came out to play. They worked for hours together to bring their friend back to them. Before the days end they all had their friend. The happy snowman joined them once again.

The Story of Fidgety Philip ~Heinrich Hoffman "Let me see if Philip can Be a little gentleman; Let me see if he is able To sit still for once at table:" Thus Papa bade Phil behave; And Mamma looked very grave. But fidgety Phil, He won't sit still; He wriggles, And giggles, And then, I declare, Swings backwards and forwards, And tilts up his chair, Just like any rocking-horse- "Philip! I am getting cross!" See the naughty, restless child Growing still more rude and wild, Till his chair falls over quite. Philip screams with all his might, Catches at the cloth, but then That makes matters worse again. Down upon the ground they fall, Glasses, plates, knives, forks, and all. How Mamma did fret and frown, When she saw them tumbling down! And Papa made such a face! Philip is in sad disgrace. Where is Philip, where is he? Fairly covered up you see! Cloth and all are lying on him; He has pulled down all upon him. What a terrible to-do! Dishes, glasses, snapped in two! Here a knife, and there a fork! Philip, this is cruel work. Table all so bare, and ah! Poor Papa, and poor Mamma Look quire cross, and wonder how They shall have their dinner now.
