Valentine Citizens
This Valentine teacher taught all four Bauer children. They loved the color purple, loved cats and quilting. They also were known for preparing their students well for college.
Jan Knispel
This Valentine citizen served as Cherry County Extension agent for many years and then was retired for nearly as many years. He and his wife raised a large family and were matriarchs of the Catholic church. Their only daughter and Marsha joked about being sisters.
Harry Stokely
This handsome lad graduated from VHS after participating in football, wrestling and basketball. After graduating from UNL in 2002 with a degree in Theatre Performance he packed his car and headed to LA to pursue an acting career. He landed a role in the film ALMOST NORMAL and the TV show ER. He is now writing novels - his first is Peripheral Vision.
