- Felocell (next treatment: 3 weeks)

- Revolution (if ear mites, repeat Revolution after 2 weeks - otherwise next treatment, Strongid in 2 weeks)

What is the minimum number of days an animal must have pain control after surgery?

All shelter dogs, cats, and rabbits being spayed or neutered (or undergoing any other potentially painful surgical procedure including dental extractions) must receive pain medication for at least 3 additional days after the day of surgery.

You do intake on a cat that appears elderly and ill. Poor coat, underweight, bad teeth, the whole shebang. 

What are some common illnesses that could cause a cat to look this way?

- kidney failure

- hyperthyroidism
