The Circle of Support is defined as relatives, friends, neighbors, professionals, and community members who are invested in the youth’s success. Any youth with substance abuse issues that is "incarcerated" (under direct supervision, in detention status) by the DOC or Juvenile Justice and not on parole or probation status. The youth must have been adjudicated and serving at least a six month sentence.

The C.A.R.E. team consists of a case manager and a family services coordinator. These professionals serve as liaisons between all invested parties and advocate for the well being of the youth. The team works directly with the family and the youth to connect or direct them to the proper support services and ensure follow-through of the plan developed during the Circle of Support. The case management team informs youth and their families of upcoming events and classes offered through BCFS. The case manager is available 24/7 to assist during crisis situations.
