What does 53 really mean?
It means 5x5x5 because exponents represent repeated multiplication

Do 12 first.
32 - 6 = 0
32 = 9, not 6. Correct answer is 3
What is important to remember about multiplication and division, as well as addition and subtraction?
They are done from left to right.
49 ÷ (3+4) + 52

2 + (4 x 3 ÷ 2) - 4
Start with 4 x 3 because it's in a bracket, and we do multiplication and division from left to right.
4 + 5 + 7 - 3 x 2 = 26
You need to follow BEMDAS and do x first. Correct answer is 10.
If a problem has multiple operations inside of a bracket, how do you know what to start with?
If a problem has multiple operations in a bracket, you start with whichever operation comes first in BEDMAS.
(i.e. you follow BEDMAS rules inside brackets too!)
(4-1)2 + (5+ 1)2

12 ÷ (3(22 - 1)) + 7
Do the 22 first because the bracket has a second bracket in it, and we follow BEDMAS inside brackets when there are multiple operations.
103 = 30
103 = 10 x 10 x10, which is 1000, not 30.
