What are the chances of a False Vacuum Decay effect in space? Extra points if you explain how it would happen.
1/10,000 (Scary)
Extra Points: All energy have a vacuum state, their lowest state of energy. However, there is chemical in the universe called the Higgs boson. This controls the mass of every object. It is usually in its vacuum state. However, this is not it's acutal vacuum state, it is only a stop on it's way to it's true vacuum state, like a road trip. You may go on a road trip and take a few stops, but except it would be terrible if you reached your destination. Every Higgs bosom molecule in the universe is going downhill, and once it reaches it's true vacuum state, it would explode, causing it to absorb all of matter at the speed of light, and matter would just blink out of existence.
