She was an African-American abolitionist and women's rights activist best-known for her speech on racial inequalities, "Ain't I a Woman?" delivered extemporaneously in 1851 at the Ohio Women's Rights Convention.
She began intensive training at age three. She won her first major championship in 1999 and completed the career Grand Slam in 2003. ... In 2017, she defeated her big sister at the Australian Open to claim the 23rd Grand Slam singles title of her career. She was born on September 26.
