36 credit hours. Some BGP courses will double dip with their major or minor, so be sure to double check on those when suggesting courses.

A football student-athlete did not pass 9 credits during Fall 2020. What should the student and coach be advised regarding eligibility?
That the student will lose eligibility in the first 4 contests of the following season. He may, however, use a 1 time exception to regain eligibility in those 4 contests so long as he passes 27 total credits prior to the start of the following fall term.
What is a prerequisite?
Prerequisites are classes that you have to take before taking a specific class. For example, Psychology 1010:General Psychology must be successfully completed before taking Psychology 3030: Psychology of Childhood Development. You need to understand the basic concepts of PSYC 1010 to be academically successful in PSYC 3030. Therefore, PSYC 1010 is a prerequisite of PSYC 3030. Not all courses have prerequisites, but some do and you must take these into account when planning your class schedule. Some may require a C or better in the prerequisite course.
What is the benchmark that would determine if a school faces an APR penalty?

No, unfortunately if a baseball student athlete is ineligible the year prior leading into the academic year, he is automatically ineligible to compete in the spring.

This is an amount calculated by an institutional financial aid office, using federal regulations, that includes the total cost of tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, transportation, and other expenses related to attendance at the institution.
Cost of Attendance
The NCAA uses this to match SAT/ACT scores and core-course grade-point averages to determine eligibility. It balances your test score with your GPA. If you have a low test score, you need a higher GPA to be eligible. If you have a low GPA, you need a higher test score to be eligible.
Sliding Scale
Student has chosen to elect a minor that is not required for his degree. He is enrolled in and passed 6 hours of classes towards his minor this spring. How should those hours be calculated during the certification process?
Those hours can count towards the 6/18 hour rules but they cannot count towards the % calculation.

While the APR is intended as an incentive-based approach, it does come with a progression of penalties for teams that under-perform academically over time.
