Who is Samson?
Judges 15:15 – "He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, reached out his hand and took it, and killed a thousand men with it."
After being told he and Sarah would have a child in their old age, this man literally laughed at God’s promise.
Who is Abraham?
Genesis 17:17 – "Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, ‘Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old?’"
This man built a giant boat with no rain in sight—talk about a long-term project!
Who is Noah?
Genesis 6:14 – "Make yourself an ark of gopher wood."
Jesus turned this into wine—his first recorded miracle!
What is water?
John 2:9 – "The water that had been turned into wine."
When God asked him to go to Pharaoh, this man said, "But I’m not good at public speaking!"
Who is Moses?
Exodus 4:10 – "I have never been eloquent... I am slow of speech and tongue."
This young shepherd-turned-king took down a giant with just a slingshot and a stone.
Who is David?
1 Samuel 17:50 – "So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone."
This prophet sarcastically told false prophets to shout louder because maybe their god was “asleep or on a journey.”
Who is Elijah?
1 Kings 18:27 – "Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened!"
This prophet had to lie on his side for over a year and cook his food over cow dung. Yikes!
Who is Ezekiel?
Ezekiel 4:4-15 – "I assign you 390 days, one day for each year of their sin."
Moses threw this on the ground, and it turned into a snake!
What is a staff?
Exodus 4:3 – "So he threw it on the ground, and it became a snake."
After eating the forbidden fruit, Adam tried to dodge responsibility by blaming this person.
Who is Eve?
Genesis 3:12 – "The woman You put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree!"
This prophet called down fire from heaven in an epic showdown with false prophets.
Who is Elijah?
1 Kings 18:38 – "Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice."
When God called him to speak, this prophet tried to get out of it by saying, "I do not know how to speak; I am only a child."
Who is Jeremiah?
Jeremiah 1:6 – "Ah, Sovereign Lord, I do not know how to speak; I am too young."
This guy’s job was to live inside a big fish for three days before getting spit out.
Who is Jonah?
Jonah 1:17 – "Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights."
Peter walked on this until he got scared and sank like a rock.

Matthew 14:29-30 – "Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus."
When caught worshiping a golden calf, this leader told Moses, "I just threw the gold in the fire, and out came this calf!"

After being asked if he followed Jesus, this disciple denied it three times—then a rooster called him out.

Matthew 26:74-75 – "Immediately a rooster crowed. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken."
He had to marry a woman who would cheat on him—a tough assignment from God.
Who is Hosea?
Hosea 1:2 – "Go, marry a promiscuous woman and have children with her."
This guy’s donkey started talking to him—imagine that!
Who is Balaam?
Numbers 22:28 – "Then the Lord opened the donkey’s mouth, and it said to Balaam..."
This prophet ran the opposite direction when God told him to preach in Nineveh.
Who is Jonah?
Jonah 1:3 – "But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish."
This man was taken to heaven in a chariot of fire—no death required!
Who is Elijah?
2 Kings 2:11 – "Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."
This man responded to Jesus by saying, "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?"
Who is Nathanael?
John 1:46 – "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?"

Ezekiel 3:1-3 – "Then I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth."
Jesus healed a blind man by making mud with this unusual ingredient.

John 9:6 – "He spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes."
When God asked, "Whom shall I send?" this prophet didn’t make an excuse—he just said, "Here I am, send me!" (A rare no-excuse moment!)
