What should you do if someone is caught in sin?
Restore that person gently, while watching yourself.
What should we put away because we are members of one another?
Lying/falsehood.
Whose interests should we look out for?
The interests of others.
What does it mean to “bear one another’s burdens”?
Help and support someone who is struggling rather than ignoring them.
Who is described as becoming obedient to the point of death?
Jesus
What should each person examine?
Your own work/actions.
What should we do instead of stealing?
Work honestly with their own hands so they can share with those in need.
What attitude should believers have toward others?
The mindset/attitude of Christ.
What does it mean to “do good to everyone”?
Humbly consider and care about the needs of others.
Who should we imitate in having a humble attitude?
Jesus
What will a person reap if they sow to the Spirit?
Eternal life.
What should believers do with corrupting talk?
Speak what builds others up and gives grace to those who hear.
What did Jesus empty Himself of?
His privileges/status, taking the form of a servant and becoming human.
What does it mean to “not grow weary in doing good”?
Refuse harmful speech and use words that encourage and build people up.
Who should we forgive, according to Ephesians 4?
Everyone.
What should we do “as we have opportunity”?
Do good, especially to fellow believers.
What should we do instead of bitterness, wrath, anger, and malice?
Put them away and instead be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving.
What should believers do without grumbling or disputing?
Do all things without grumbling or arguing.
According to Galatians 6, why shouldn’t we become weary?
Because in due season we will reap if we do not give up.
What should believers “shine” as in the world?
Light
What warning is given about deceiving ourselves?
We cannot fool God; our actions have consequences—we reap what we sow.
What should believers be toward one another?
Kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving, as God forgave us in Christ.
What has God highly exalted Jesus and given Him?
The name above every name; every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
What does “God is not mocked” mean in context?
Live as a faithful witness—“shine as lights in the world.”
What should every tongue eventually confess?
Jesus Christ is Lord
