Also, the four faces impress on us the surpassing greatness of Jehovah’s might and glory.

Our understanding has been clarified. However the deathlike condition of spiritual captivity lasted a very long time and began much earlier than 1918. It started in the second century C.E. and ended in 1919 C.E. and basically parallels the long growing season in Jesus’ parable of the wheat and the weeds.

What is different, or unique about the 7th day? What does this mean?

The 7th day was different from the other preceding 6 days in that Jehovah blessed and made it sacred. That is, it was a day set aside for a special purpose, which god stated at Gen 1:28. This would take time, thus on the 7th day Jehovah rested to allow what he had created to develop according to his will. Thus, while Jehovah stated his will, we are privileged to have a part in accomplishing it. In this ways Jehovah also lives up to his name, causing us to be what we need to be to fulfill his will.

After the outpouring of holy spirit on the day of Pentecost, when miraculous gifts of the spirit were transmitted it was done through the an apostle. Can you name a time that someone besides an apostle was allowed to transmit the gifts of the spirit?

In an unusual situation, it appears that Jesus authorized Ananias to transmit the gifts of the spirit to His "chosen vessel," Saul. So Jesus apparently saw to it that Saul had the Power he needed in order to carry out his preaching assignment.
