In 1934, Brother Rutherford sent a letter to a ruler of the time stating, "You may successfully resist any and all men, but you cannot successfully resist Jehovah God." He then demanded that Jehovah's Witnesses be permitted to worship without hindrance. Who was this letter to?

Hitler.

In this letter he also set a deadline for Hitler to follow his instructions. Rutherford threatened that if Hitler did not comply, he would make sure the world knew of the horrible persecution. Enraged, the Nazis stepped up the abuse and often the first ones placed in the camps were Witnesses.

The tree being chopped down and banded began in 607 B.C.E. with the destruction of Jerusalem. Seven times were then to pass over.

Days for years, therefore be 2,520 years. The 2,520 years would end in October 1914.

Who was Onesimus and who paid his debt?

Onesimus was a slave who ran away from his master, Philemon, and likely stole from him to escape. He became a Christian and companion to Paul in Rome. However, as a runaway slave he still needed to return to Philemon. When doing so, Paul sent him with a letter to Philemon asking him to receive Onesimus as a brother instead of a slave. Paul then said that he would pay any debt owed for his freedom.
