The Letter to the Hebrews was written to Jewish Christians in Palestine. Some of them faced prosecution and were thinking about returning to the Jewish religion. We don't know who wrote the letter. But it is the Holy Spirit that inspired the author to write such a powerful letter, to tell the Jewish Christians that Jesus is superior to their old religion in every way, and urge them to persevere in the faith to the end.
