Hallways
With the exception of changing classes when the bell rings, students need to possess this in order to be in the hallways.
What is a pass?
This optional service is provided everyday when students are arriving at school.

If I forget something from my locker, I must have this after asking for teacher permission to return to my locker.

You may have this in your possession throughout the school day but it can't be seen or heard.

This student is part of the MS student council and is responsible for assisting students who are lost and maintaining an orderly transition during class changes.
What is a hall monitor?
The number of times a student can go through the lunch line.
What is one?
In order to know which locker is mine, I must know this first.
What is a locker number?
Homeroom is this long to accomplish the morning announcements and attendance.
What is 4 minutes?

If you have an appointment during the school day, you give your parent note to this person as soon as you get to school.
Who is the middle school secretary? OR Who is Ms. Downey? OR Who is Mrs. Schuld? OR Who is Mrs. Kabana?
Many students fear getting lost in the middle school but this will be provided with the middle school schedule to assist students in finding their way around.
What is the school map?
Even if students are this, they may go through the lunch line to purchase lunch and/or other items.
What is a packer?
School lockers do not have combination locks. If a student wants to secure his/her locker with a lock, the student MUST get a school lock from this person (no locks from home are permitted).
Who is the student council advisor? OR Who is Mr. Capilo?
Students return to homeroom during this period to have study hall, get permission to go to clubs, get help from teachers, attend peer tutoring, go to the computer lab, get books from the library, and make-up or finish tests.
What is 9th Period? OR What is Activity Period?
You will learn how to read your schedule, take a tour of the school, and hear about policies (attendance, discipline, dress code).
What is orientation? OR What is the first day of school during AM homeroom?
It takes approximately this amount of time to learn the layout of the school and not get lost in the hallways.
What is one-two weeks?
The amount a MS student lunch costs.
What is $2.50?
6th graders can go to their lockers this many times in a school day without securing permission from a teacher.
What is 5?
(before AM homeroom, after 2nd period, before lunch, after lunch, end of day)
What is the 6th grade wing?
This type of sweatshirt is not permitted at the middle school during the school day.
What is a hoodie?

In each wing of the middle school (6th grade wing, 7th grade wing, and 8th grade wing), student traffic is required to follow a pattern.
What is a one-way hallway?
Students are required to sit by this (your choice of 6 tables with 6 students at a table).
What is homeroom?
When decorating lockers (only permitted on the inside of your locker), you must use this as the only way to hang something.
What is a magnet?
Homerooms are assigned by this at the middle school.

The location of where you get dropped off or picked up before or after school.
