This student is part of the MS student council and is responsible for assisting students who are lost and maintaining an orderly transition during class changes.

If you have an appointment during the school day, you give your parent note to this person as soon as you get to school.

Many students fear getting lost in the middle school but this will be provided with the middle school schedule to assist students in finding their way around.

School lockers do not have combination locks. If a student wants to secure his/her locker with a lock, the student MUST get a school lock from this person (no locks from home are permitted).

Students return to homeroom during this period to have study hall, get permission to go to clubs, get help from teachers, attend peer tutoring, go to the computer lab, get books from the library, and make-up or finish tests.

You will learn how to read your schedule, take a tour of the school, and hear about policies (attendance, discipline, dress code).

It takes approximately this amount of time to learn the layout of the school and not get lost in the hallways.

6th graders can go to their lockers this many times in a school day without securing permission from a teacher.

In each wing of the middle school (6th grade wing, 7th grade wing, and 8th grade wing), student traffic is required to follow a pattern.
