Who is allowed to administer medication at Adventure Camp?

The Camp Health Supervisor is the only staff member allowed to give medication (if the camper has given us written permission). No one else on staff is allowed to give any medication, including Tylenol and Advil.

  • Counselors will check “buddies” in and out of the water.

  • Every 10 minutes, lifeguards will whistle for a buddy check to make sure all buddies are accounted for.

  • Have them rest if it is mild near your activity or at the office. They can return to participate in the activities or we can contact their family to be picked up early.

  • If campers are experiencing flu like symptoms, we will contact their family to have them picked up.
