Can you revise essays?
YES! But, there is always something "additional" to help guide your revision. Sometimes it's a writing conference, sometimes it's a guided revision assignment, sometimes it's a reflection. But you can revise any essay in this class.

How long do you have to turn in a late assignment? In other words, after what date will ANY assignment no longer be accepted?

Can you retake reading quizzes.
Nope. You either read or you didn't -- that isn't fair to your classmates who thoughtfully did their homework. Reading quizzes are a formative grade -- one low grade isn't going to have any impact on your grade. A pattern of low quiz scores will. See me for extra help if you are doing the reading and are still struggling with quizzes.

At the start of the class period. That means:
- Homework completed when the bell rings
- If it's a printed assignment, it's printed when you walk in the door. If you have to go print and you're not back by the bell, it's late.

If you want to retake a vocab quiz, when is the deadline?
It has to be retaken before the next vocab quiz.
Example: You are unhappy with your Unit 5 vocab quiz score. You have until you take the Unit 6 quiz to retake it. After that the window has passed.
What is the restroom policy?
Sign the clipboard when you leave and when you return.
One in, one out system.
Unlimited passes unless I find you're abusing the system.
