It's Located in the front portion of the ribs. This portion of the chest cavity should be one of the widest parts of the pig's chest.
Fore Flank
It's located just above the dewclaws and just below the elbow pocket
A specific cut of pork from the pig's hind legs
Ham
A cut of pork from a pig's cheek
Jowl
It's located past the ribs and in front of the stifle muscle
Rear Flank
The smaller appendages on the back of the pig's legs, located above the hooves
Dew Claw
Its long nose
Snout
A piece of meat from the stomach or soft lower part of a pig's body
Belly
The part of the body of a person or animal where the arm or foreleg joins the body
Shoulder
The muscle used to move the pig's rear legs. Its placement is determined by the pig's rump structure. This muscle must be positioned correctly for proper movement.
Stifle
The body area between the neck and gluteal regions
Back
The organ of sight of animals
Eye
The region of the pig's body that lies behind the hip bones
Rump
The rough equivalent to a human's ankle. The joint above the hoof that's angled backwards
