The respiratory system provides oxygen to the blood and removes carbon dioxide
How are the nervous system and endocrine system the same AND different (at least one of each)?
What is the nervous system and the endocrine system are BOTH responsible for control and coordination in the body but the nervous system sends electrical messages through neurons while the endocrine system sends chemical messages through the bloodstream
Why do muscles typically come in pairs? Example: the bicep and the tricep
Muscles are only able to pull, so for a body part to move in two different directions there must be two different muscles pulling in opposite directions
How do the immune system and circulatory system work together?
The circulatory system produces white blood cells and circulates them around the body while the immune system uses the white blood cells to attack foreign invaders (pathogens)
What do breathing and cellular respiration have to do with one another?
breathing brings oxygen into the body and eventually to the cells which the mitochondria in the cells use for the process of cellular respiration. Then carbon dioxide is made as a product of cellular respiration and the blood brings it back to the lungs where you breathe it out.
