If a patient is actively bleeding, throwing up, or has a serious bone injury.
How does the Pt add themselves or someone else to their Portal account?
They can fill out the information to match exactly what we have in PCIS or they can get a registration code from any of our clinics. The code will allow patients to add other people to their account (children/ spouses)

When do I add a patient as a "scheduled patient"
You should only add patients using this method when the provider has scheduled patients already on his schedule.

You MUST send the patient a Mammo release form so we can get their priors, you also need to write where it was in the comments if they can remember. A billing provider must be added to the appointment as well as written in the comments. Ask if they have implants
Should I add a patient as a walk-in pt in another office?
Yes, you can do this! Just make sure you allow them to leave and come back.
How can you see if a patient has a portal account?
On the PM side in the Pt Demo, it will say Web Portal in red at the top.
On the EHR side, it will have a little box that says the last time they logged on.
How do you add a texting template to Weave Texting?
Open a text as if you are about to respond or send a message. Then click on the four lines located next to the images button on the bottom. Once you click there there will be a prompt to " create new template".
How many days do we have to schedule appointments for TCMs and ED visits?
We have 7 days total to get these patients on the schedule and seen. 14 days for TCM's but we only get partial credit after the first 7 days.
What is the most important thing to do when scheduling for a new provider?
Check the "Provider Credentialing Updates" form on Sharepoint to ensure that Pt's insurance will cover their visit.
If your Pt's name disappears off of clockwise, how do you find out what happened?
You can go to Today's Patients and it will give you a description of their status ex. Discharged, Removed, Cancelled.
How can you send the patient the Provider's notes on their labs through the portal?
You open the note and where you would write to respond you change the note form internal to *patient note. Once that is done you can copy and paste the provider's note and send it through the patient portal.
What is an Advantage plan?
An advantage plan is where they have all their Medicare coverage rolled into one plan like BXBS or Select Health. The advantage plan would be the only insurance you enter
