In the beginning, God may spoon feed us with little things that will help us build up our faith, but as we grow older, we may hit speed bumps that will cause our faith to waiver and maybe even fall. For this reason, it's important to cultivate our spirituality so we can face the challenges that are to come.

We're anointed with the HS today. This is important because it helps us abide by the teachings of God and empowers us when we serve Him. The HS will counsel and guide us in our daily life. That's why it's important to always be praying for the HS or fullness of the HS.

Instead of reading the bible and praying regularly, Mackenzie spent most of her time watching her favorite show. She even decorated her entire room with posers and figurines from that show. When she was at church, she would think about the show instead of listen to the pastor or RE teacher.
