No, Poseidon wouldn't be angry with Odysseus if he hadn't chosen to "let his anger flare" and provoke Polyphemus, because then the cyclops wouldn't even know who had done this to him. The Bible says to not be overcome by Eli and to not repay it. Christians are called to forgive their enemies and move on, but that isn't what Odysseus did.
