King Benjamin's address to the people begins in Mosiah 2 and concludes in Mosiah 5, and the fact that the multitude was so great that he needed to speak to them from a tower is found in Mosiah 2:7
King Noah was a wicked king (Mosiah 11:1).
There are two kings named Mosiah in The Book of Mormon. The first is referenced in Omni (1:12-23) and is King Benjamin's father (Omni 1:23). The second is who the book of Mosiah is named after and he is the son of King Benjamin (Mosiah 1:2).
Amalickiah is first mentioned in Alma 46:3 and he wanted to be a king over the people (Alma 46:4).
In 2 Nephi 9:28-29 we read, "O that cunning plan of the evil one! O the vainness, and the frailties, and the foolishness of men! When they are learned they think they are wise, and they hearken not unto the counsel of God, for they set it aside, supposing they know of themselves, wherefore, their wisdom is foolishness and it profiteth them not. And they shall perish. But to be learned is good if they hearken unto the ________ ___ ______." To what must we hearken?

This scripture teaches that we must not put too much faith in the wisdom of men while not taking sufficient counsel from the Lord's hand.

Here Moroni is recounting the wonders and marvels that have been done by faith. He teaches that if we have not faith we cannot receive the witness of the truth that we are after.

Alma has been teaching the people but turns the time over to Amulek to prophesy. He teaches them that they must not procrastinate the day of their repentance. They must prepare today for the coming of Christ.

In chapters 39-42 Alma is teaching his son Corianton. Here he teaches that while sinning might be fun in the short term, it can never bring the true happiness of life which can only come through God.

This scripture is often the first one that converts to the LDS Church see as it is the one of the first that the missionaries show to them. Investigators are encouraged to read the words of the Book of Mormon and then pray to the Heavenly Father about them.
