Ask permission to leave the room AFTER you have completed the do now, so I can take attendance and check your homework.  Also, when possible, ask to go to the bathroom during independent or group work, not when I am giving directions or others are sharing.

What is CASA?

The Center for Academic Support and Assistance (CASA) The Center for Academic Support and Assistance (CASA) is an extra help program that meets after school from 3:45 p.m.–4:45 p.m. CASA is designed to provide all students with a place to complete homework assignments, have access to computers/printers, work with peers on group projects and/or obtain assistance with homework/studying. While CASA is mandatory for those students on academic probation, all students are encouraged to utilize the support services available.

What is ASAP? 

Academic Support Assistance Program (ASAP) The Academic Support and Assistance Program (ASAP) was designed to provide selected freshmen students with the opportunity to strengthen basic skills in mathematics, vocabulary, English grammar and usage, reading, writing and computers. The program runs for the first semester of the academic year and consists of seven class periods: two in math, two in English, one focusing on computers, one library period (for research and study skills) and one study hall.
