In this stage the substance use is no longer a choice, and the person will experience severe withdrawal symptoms from stopping their use. In this stage the person is only concerned with using the substance despite all of the negative consequences.

Step 4
What is national recovery month?

Often involves a group of individuals, usually loved ones or close friends, who are ready to confront a person with addiction in an effort to persuade them to seek professional help for their substance abuse.
Intervention
In this stage the addict is making observable changes to behavior.
Action stage of change
This is the point at which the person is using the substance on a recurring, improper basis, using a substance in a way that is harmful.
Misuse stage
Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.
Step 8
What are three levels of care that a person can attend in their recovery process.
inpatient, PHP, detox, outpatient.

Withdrawal
In this stage the person is aware of a problem and considering making a change.
Contemplation
The body or brain becomes dependent on having the substance to be able to function properly. The substance use is still considered a choice in this stage.
Dependence
Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
