CG stands for character generator. The name and title of the interview subject is included.
Where are the best two shots located in a package?
The best two shots should be your opening shot and closing shot.
What should be in a news story?
The central compelling character, more than one side to tell, credible sources, and statistical data.
What does "Writing for Voice" mean?
It means it was active verbs, present tense, written in phrases, periods, and commas.
What does VO stand for and what does it look like in a newscast?
VO stands for voice over. The anchor reads the copy from the studio. The video is used for a portion of the story visuals.

A cut away or dissolve
What is a good location for an interview?
A location that lights up your interview subject and avoid windows in the background, when doing outside make sure its overcast.
What should you cover in a news story?
Interviews from both sides, b-roll includes sequences and cut aways with natural sound, live presence or reporter stand up, and 1:00-1:30 length.

1. Zoom in on the furthest object
2. Focus the camera on that object

What is the order of completion for a package?
1. Transfer your clips into your project through Adobe Bridge on PC or log and transfer on the Mac.
2. Pick out your sound bites from interviews and place them on your sequence in an order that tells a story.
3. Write and record your voice tracks.
4. Edit your voice tracks.
5. Edit your b-roll.
6. Tweak and balance all audio so the package is ready for air.
What should you include in a stand up?
Information that you do not have b-roll that includes statistics and research. Also you should include show and tell.
