Joseph wanted his brothers to know that they could trust God to help them; God was present with them; God is faithful and would keep the covenant He made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; God would bring them back to Canaan.

Leadership (brothers' praise, hand on enemies, brothers bow), power like a lion, kingship until the promised King comes, prosperity symbolized by grapes and donkeys.
How did Jacob's sons honor their father? (50:7-13)
They fulfilled his request to be buried in Canaan. The procession included Pharaoh's officials, Jacob's sons, the adult members of his family, chariots, and horsemen. They wept and mourned with great ceremony and sincerity.
What did Joseph ask his brothers to do? (50:24-25)
Take his bones with them when God took them back to Canaan.
There was never a time when God did not exist. No one made God. God made everything. God alone is able to bring something out of nothing.
