The number of classes that may be missed without penalty. Students who miss more than this, may, at the discretion of the instructor, be required to write a general knowledge examination, or do an additional assignment to demonstrate their understanding of the course content. Students who miss 1/3 of certain interactive courses may, at the discretion of the instructor, fail the course.
