You see a group of boys playing basketball. A boy starts teasing another boy about how bad he is at playing basketball. The other boy is clearly embarrassed. What should you do?
1. Go over and talk to the boy being teased. Maybe ask him if he would like to play.
2. Say something to the boy being mean.
3. Get a teacher to help you
Some kids think it is cool to pick on other kids for their size, their hair, their face, their clothes, their shoes, etc. What should you do if you hear someone doing this to another student?
1. Say something to the mean person.
2. Say something to the person getting picked on.
3. Talk to an adult.
Telling someone who they can or can not be friends with is bullying. Why?
We should all be able to choose who we want to be friends with. Nobody should be telling us who we are allowed to be friends with.
What should you do if you see someone sitting alone?
It is kind to talk to someone who is sitting alone or to ask them to play.
If you feel uncomfortable speaking up when someone is being bullied should you a. do nothing, b. ask a friend or teacher for help, or c. join in the bullying?

This is bullying. Not only is Theo breaking Virginia’s things, but is also encouraging her to lie to her parents about it. Virgina needs to talk to an adult about what is happening.
