- sit with them at lunch to let them know that you want to support them
Telling: trying to help someone; behavior is unsafe or hurtful

This is a conflict/disagreement between friends. There is no imbalance of power.

What can it look like?
Physical - hitting, kicking
Indirect - gossiping, excluding
Cyber - mean text messages, posting rumors or embarrassing pictures
What is an Upstander?
Someone who sees bullying and acts to make it stop. They do their best to help and support someone who is being hurt

- it can be intimidating - bully may pick on me
- "You might get suspended"
- "You will hurt him"
