An item MUST be sent to the address listed on the buyers PayPal account. No protection is offered by PayPal if the item is sent to a different address.
What is something the seller can do to ensure any dispute raised by the suspect would not be upheld?
Take pictures/videos of all items they send as evidence. Also keep receipts for proof of sending.

They have to contact Citizens Advice Consumer Service either through the online form or through an advisor.
If a victim has posted items and then realises it is a scam, what must we NOT do?
Do not advise the victim to contact the police or Royal Mail. No mail can be stopped or recovered once sent unless there is a significant threat e.g. risk to life (Police).
