Paying attention on purpose to the present moment without judgement.
What is mindfulness?
Tipping the temperature. Intense exercise. Paced breathing. Paired muscle relaxation.
What is the TIPP Skill?
The first skill we use when experiencing an emotion.
What is checking the facts?
Being fair to yourself and others. Not over apologizing. Sticking to your values. Telling the truth.
What is the FAST skill?
Just noticing wordless watching.
What is Observe?
Exhaling longer than inhaling.
What is paced breathing?
The skill we use if and emotion does not fit the facts or acting on emotion is not effective.
What is opposite action?
Objective, self-respect and relationship.
What are the 3 objectives to consider in interpersonal interactions?
When walking walk. When eating eat.
What is being one mindful?
Acting from wise mind with awareness to do what is needed versus what is wanted.

The skill we use when an emotion fits the facts and the situation is the problem.

The game used to decide how strongly to ask for something or how strongly to say no to something.

Doing what works.

Not fighting realty and not necessarily approving,

Doing things to make you feel competent and effective in order to experience joy and improve self-esteem.
What is Building Mastery?
The skill used for accomplishing an objective.
