What is Child Find?
Supports campus IEP teams when considering changes of placement, preparing for reconvene meetings, or addressing unique student needs

What is the initial FIE timeline?
Informal meeting amongst IEP team members to discuss data, consider options, or make plans to address student needs prior to an ARD committee meeting

This form, available in Laserfiche, must be completed within 24 hours of engaging in a restraint with a student

What is Assistive Technology?
A written statement that lays out the program of special education instruction, supports, and services for each child with a disability that is reviewed and revised at least annually
What is an Individual Education Program (IEP)?
Group who connects to determine the scope of the evaluation for referrals or reevaluations
Who is the campus evaluation team?
Provide in-service training for district staff and parents on behavior intervention plans and data collection methods
Who are BCBAs?
Parent permission may be obtained when a required ARD member needs to leave the meeting early.
What is an excusal from an ARD meeting?
Notice to ensure that parent/guardian or the adult student are provided all relevant information so that they are fully informed about the actions related to special education identification, evaluation, services, and placements the local education agency (LEA) has proposed or refused to provide.
