Typically I finish my shift before 6:30 pm. What should I do with the extra time?
1. Do a perimeter sweep...do a once around the building downstairs and make sure the back door is full closed, the main stair case is locked and that the elevator is locked. YOU SHOULD DO THIS EVERY DAY!
2. Check the task list on the shared drive, make sure I did all my work. If not, start on a new task.
3. Check the slacks, make sure I respond to any pending slacks.
What is the location of the 4 air filters at CADSS?

Something happens during my shift, and I'm at a complete loss as to what to do. What are some options?
Try hitting up the team slack

What do I clean every day at the end of the day?
All of the tables in CADSS, including the Dance Room, Kitchen, near the kitchen, the table the computers are on (but not the keyboards), and the tables by the TV area.
Also the mirrors in the dance room if tutors left work up on them.
What weeks are LFA Scholars required to do their grade report? HINT: It's two weeks.

I'm closing for the day, but there is a meeting going on for Whole Earth Festival or Entertainment Council. What should I do?
Check in with them. Still do all your closing procedures, but if they are in the lobby, then you can leave the lights on. Make sure to lock/close the CADSS door by info table. Ask them if they have the key to lock the elevator. If so, remind them to do so when they leave. If not, then you lock the elevator. You'll already have locked the stair door.
If we are at the front desk, and it's an EMERGENT situation (you really need to talk to Maya), what's the best way to do this?
Call her office three times. The first call, let it ring once or twice. Hang up and call again, doing the same thing. On the third ring, unless she is in with a student that is an emergency, she'll answer.
What should be on the little white tables near the small conference room, and in the dance room?
Some paper towels (not the blue ones). A bottle of Disinfecting Spray. In the Dance room, a bottle of windex to clean the mirrors after tutoring.

You'll still do your regular lock up duties. If the group is coming before 6:30 pm, you'll let them into the Dance Room (but making sure the back door is closed so they can't get into CADSS). If they are coming after 6:30 pm, they will get special access to the building, and you don't have to be present.

What do I do with the door stops that hold open doors?
Depending on location, but making sure they are close to the door you closed. The one that holds open the Zinfinadel Lobby Door, kick that one inside CADSS.
If the elevator appears to not be working, what's the first thing you should check?
Check the ground that the elevator opens and closes (the tracks). There may be a rock or a twig stuck there.

What if a delivery arrives and I don't know anything about it....what should I do?
Take the delivery, write down who it's from, and send a message on the group slack. Unless they say it's for someone particularly, and then you can send them an individual slack message.
It's Wednesday around 11 am, and there are multiple events going on at CADSS. How will I modify my approach to see what brings them in?
Maybe just ask what brought them in. If they say the special event (I.e., BlerdOut or the Black Bag Lunch), then enter that. If they aren't sure, you can share the few events going on, but they may also be here to study or hang out or....
I've been asked to do an assignment, but I have not been given everything I need to be successful. What do I do?
Ask the person who gave the assignment. It's okay to follow up!
