OH NO! Our fire for the cookout won’t start. We have dry wood and plenty of matches
What is getting a firestarter and/or asking for help?
I help teach all things camp to campers hoping to become staff one day

I am young, my attention span is short (like my height) and I LOVE to play make believe.

Daily tasks that we do as a unit to help camp stay clean and run smoothly
What are kapers?
You have a child that is inconsolable at bedtime. Every staff member in the unit has tried to comfort this child
What is to ask for backup from Core Staff – Specifically Fishy or Sebago if they are on?
I assist those who make the meals, and help to make sure everyone is fed
Who is Program Counselor Kitchen?
Time to stay indoors, but don’t worry everything is fine, just need a place to hangout and stay dry during this.
What is thunder and lightning?
I am at an age where I can take on leadership roles and learn how to become a future camp counselor. I need less guidance and instruction than other age groups.
Who is a Senior and/or Ambassador?
Activities that are written into the program description in the camp guidebook.
What are Promised Activities?
You and your co-staff are fighting and not communicating effectively. You are uncomfortable with confrontation.
What is ask an LC - Gen to facilitate/moderate a conversation between the two of you?
I work with many units. I help plan and implement a varied, safe, and well rounded program, as well as support and mentor staff.
Who is Lead Program Counselor General?
This emergency requires campers and staff to hide out in one of two locations, under the health lodge or in the shower house.
What is a tornado Warning?
I feel a LOT of big feelings ALL the time. I still enjoy “little kid” activities but I’m trying to find myself as a “big kid”. I still need a lot of guidance but I want to try and have more responsibility
Who is a Junior?
Time when capers can rest, can do quiet activities and just generally hang out and decompress in the unit (or other designated location)
What is camper time?
You have a camper that is flat refusing to participate in any activity (but isn’t being disruptive to the other campers)

I have either recently graduated high school or I am at least 18 years old.

I talk to them to schedule an activity block for my campers within a specific program area.
Who are the program area specialists?
You have a child that is being a danger to themselves/the group and trying to run away!
