Medication Policy:
Staff must not administer medication. EXCEPTION: written prior authorization and instructions given to Camp Supervisors. Do not hold campers medication but can encourage them to take it at a necessary time.
Both Camp Skylandia and Camp Sky Lil Pines are equipped supplies for
Minor Injuries such as shallow cuts, scratches, and scrapes. For severe injuries like uncontrolled bleeding, lack of consciousness, breathing problems, fractures, severe head injuries, CALL 911
Timecards are due on this day.
Friday on the week the pay period ends. Payroll is on a bi-weekly system so checks are given every other Friday.

Mandatory Reporters
All staff working with youth. Must report when having reasonable cause to believe a child has been non-accidentally injured physically or mentally, neglected, or sexually abused.

3. Location and time of the event.

If a parent/ camper/ member of the public wants to file claim against the district, you tell:
Indra, the Director of Parks and Recreation (or Camp Supervisors first). Never discuss liability, negligence, or defective equipment with camper or their parents.

Water Safety (hint: 7 items):
ALL children must pass a swim test to enter the water above their waist. Swim test pass/ fail must be reported and tracked.
- Minimize children on pier (CIT's only)
- No throwing rocks
- No roughhousing in the water/ on the pier
- No distracting leaders acting as lifeguards
- No holding on to/ interfering with rope barrier
- No improper use of toys/ emergency equipment
Who Covers the cost of an Ambulance?
The injured party/ their family. If possible, make a serious attempt to gain permission for transport and or emergency treatment in a non-life threatening situation. In a life-threatening situation, initiate emergency services and transport.
