A family approaches you with questions about Fraternity and Sorority Life. The mom says, "I don't want my little boy to be hazed. Do frats at Michigan haze?" How would you answer this?
Emphasize that the university has a very strict anti-hazing policy that all affiliated sororities and fraternities must abide by. If there is an instance of hazing it can be reported directly to the Fraternity and Sorority Life Office or anonymously on their website.
You finish up lunch and notice a family is missing from your tour. What do you do?
Don’t freak out! Slack a Coord or Prostaff member and let them know how many people you’re missing. Also send a message in the Campus Day Slack because another tour group may be able to pick them up!
What does SAPAC stand for and what resources can they provide?
SAPAC = Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center. They provide peer support groups, individual support/counseling, prevention & bystander awareness workshops, etc.

The plethora of resources available to help with academics, advising, study abroad, class size, and YOUR personal experiences
Where should you go if you are really struggling with something and don't know where to go/what to do?
The Dean of Students Office! They can help you with all situations and point you to specific offices that can provide more in depth help.
When are you dismissed from morning duties?
When a Coord or Prostaff tells you in person or via Slack that you are released, not a definitive time
At lunch a student asks "I hear North Campus sucks. How do I ensure I won't live there?" How would you respond?
Emphasize the fact that you will find community no matter where you are placed, how every resource that's on Central is also on North, and talk about how easy the bus system is!
You're out on your tour and notice a protest on the Diag. What should you do?
Try your best to give your tour stop away from it so that guests can still hear and focus on you. Also, send a Slack message to the Campus Day chat so that other groups are aware of it

What is CSP and why are students in it?
CSP is the Comprehensive Studies Program. This is a program designed to provide academic and social support to students who identify with populations that are historically underrepresented. OUA determines a student’s admission into CSP; possible criteria can include geography, first generation college students, size of high school, strength of high school curriculum, and/or socioeconomic status.
