These protect and comfort us.

This piece of armor keeps evil thoughts out of our minds and allows good thoughts to enter.
What is the helmet of salvation?
To tell them the truth about the one true God.
Why did God want Jonah to go to Ninevah?
Who was sleeping in the back of the boat when a bad storm came up?
Who was Jesus?
The seeds in this type of soil do not take root. People hear the word of God, but it isn't planted deeply in their hearts.
What is shallow soil?
We are his sheep, and he is our shepherd.
Who is Jesus?
This is the only item that we can use to attack our enemy - Satan.
What is the sword of the spirit? (God's Word)
He jumped on a ship going in the opposite direction of where God was sending him.
Who is Jonah?
This disciple was able to walk on water...until he took his eyes off of Jesus.
Who was Peter?
The seeds were planted in good soil, but the word did not grow and produce good works in the peoples' lives because of this.
What are thorns?
This runs over with blessings.

This helps us when worries and untruths try to lead us off of the right path for our lives.
What is the Belt of Truth? (knowing God's word in the Bible)
Because their ship was in danger of sinking, killing everyone onboard.
Why did the sailors toss Jonah overboard?
Jesus used mud to heal this man.

TV, money, video games, not reading God's Word, are all examples of this in our lives.
What "thorns" choke off people from putting God first in their lives.
This is used by a shepherd to catch sheep.

This helps us to block the flaming arrows that Satan sends our way to attack us.
What is the breastplate of faith/righteousness?
A large mammal in the sea that became Jonah's home for three days.
What is a whale?
This first miracle of Jesus happened at a wedding in Cana.
Where did Jesus turn water into wine?
Seeds that fall onto fertile soil represent this.
