What are Band Councils?
1. A councillor is notified that some members of a neighbourhood would like a park built. The councillor informs the council.
2. The council discusses the idea. A committee is created to explore the project.
3. The committee sees if there is a suitable area in the neighbourhood for a park. If they can fund the park. Discuss the impact of building one with experts such as engineers and environmentalists.
4. The committee notifies the community. A meeting is held to share more information with the community and ask for input about the park.
5. Based on available funds, support from experts, and input from the public, councillors vote to build the park.
